more than halfway to go..

Hello peeps,

It has been ages! Isn’t? I have been busy with work for these past 9 months and was thinking about my microsite while in the meeting. So, a bit of an update won’t hurt.

My last post is about me travelling Europe and reflecting on the year 2023. And hey, I am about to embark on another journey at the end of this week. So, stay tuned.

It feels a bit surreal to write during this time of the year. I recognize that this year doesn’t mean much more than a shifting page on the calendar except with it also comes a collective consciousness of hope, prayers of peace and intentions for growth. And that, I believe, is where the shift happens.

There is great power in hope. In deep belief that better days are ahead of us. There is massive strength in intention. With it brings a listening ear, seeing eyes and an open heart for where to live out of that intention.

As the calendar has steadily, albeit slowly, marched towards the second half of the year, I’ve often thought of myself standing at the cusp of the third quarter of 2024.

I can’t help but think that had I known all that was to happen in the past few months, I’m not sure I would believe it to be survivable, and yet here we are.

So I am leaving the third quarter plans without resolutions. Without specific goals. Instead, I want to focus on the values and intentions I want to bring to every day. How I see the world and what I can bring to it; are the things I can control.

One of the resounding values that I hold dear is to find beauty every day. I hope that perhaps together we can find and bring beauty to a world that so desperately needs it.

May the remainder of the year will be great for all of us.

Talk to you soon,
EMIR xx
